Hi! I'm Lindsey, the owner of Redwood Cloth Company, a CPSIA compliant cloth diaper shop! I am a nurse, military spouse, and mom to four beautiful kids. Originally located and founded in SoCal, now relocated and thriving in Virginia.

Deciding to use cloth for our third (and fourth!) child was an amazing and life-changing decision for our family. Not only did it help to grow our passion for sustainable and reusable products, it also freed us from the financial burden of having to constantly buy disposables. We fell in love with how easy it was to wash and reuse, and how gentle the fabrics were on our kid's sensitive skin.

This passion for using cloth diapers developed into a business opportunity and I have found it to be an amazing way to enable other parents to also have access to resources where they can diaper babies in a more sustainable, absolutely adorable, and eco-friendly way. 

The name Redwood Cloth Company originated from the original owner who founded the business, after brainstorming what communities or organizations she wanted to support. As a California company and outdoor enthusiast, she wanted something closer to home and heart. The Redwood National and State Parks boast the oldest and tallest trees on the entire planet, and are truly breathtaking to see in real life. They are a valuable part of our ecosystem and need to be preserved.

A portion of the annual proceeds have been donated since the business first opened, and will continue to be donated each year to the Save the Redwoods League to help protect, preserve, and restore these ancient forests. I continue this tradition started by the original owner because my family and I enjoy doing our part to help preserve these amazing wonders. Visiting National Parks and supporting them is a passion of ours, and the state of California has such a special place in our hearts.
